wow.....what a putz.

The irony of this, of course, is we're all getting to be a bit on the elderly side, and for that I'm very thankful. Those who make statements such as those quoted from another forum usually don't live long enough to become old, also for which I'm very thankful. The world would be a lot better off without these inconsiderate individuals that express their opinions in this manner. I'm also thankful that Nigel can send such individuals into never-never land, from which they cannot return.

Hey, I was looking for a used Electone to play when I retire.

As another one of the "old men" (67) I also am thankful that I found THIS forum, which has given me -- a "retread musician" much pleasure and good information via a (usually) civil, if sometimes very critical, bunch of other interesting dudes, including the aged and aging. The board I posted from is all too indicative of the kind of diatribe one finds all over the place on the 'net. Makes one leave a place rather quickly.

PS: before he left this world, my Dad had an Electone -- I wasn't willed the instrument so I never got to play it much. Good thing for me, huh?

I hate to think what he would think of my choice of music a lot of it prejaz and swing.
